Al-Kawkab

Al-Kawkab Football Club (Arabic: نادي الكوكب) is a Saudi Arabian professional football club based in Al Kharj that plays in the Prince Mohammad bin Salman League, the second tier of Saudi football. It was founded in 1968.

Al-Kawkab have won Saudi First Division once and finished runners-up once. They have competed in the Saudi Professional League twice and have been relegated in each season. Al-Kawkab have won the Second Division once and finished runners-up once as well. The club last competed in the Professional League in the 1987–88 season when they were relegated to the First Division.

The club play their home games at Al-Shoulla Club Stadium in Al Kharj, sharing the stadium with city rivals Al-Shoulla, with whom they contest the Al Kharj derby.

Al-Kawkab FC (en arabe : نادي الكوكب السعودي), également connu sous le nom d'Al-Kawkab, est un club de football saoudien basé à Al Kharj, près de Riyad. Le club a été fondé en 1963 et joue actuellement dans la First Division League, la deuxième division du football saoudien.

Al-Kawkab a remporté la deuxième division saoudienne à deux reprises, en 1984-1985 et 2006-2007. Le club a également disputé la Premier League saoudienne pendant plusieurs saisons, sa meilleure performance étant une sixième place lors de la saison 1997-1998.

Au niveau international, Al-Kawkab a participé à la Coupe d'Asie des clubs champions à deux reprises, en 1999 et 2000. Le club n'a pas réussi à dépasser la phase de groupes lors de ces deux participations.

Les couleurs de l'équipe d'Al-Kawkab sont le vert et le blanc. Le stade du club est le Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz Stadium, d'une capacité de 10 000 places.
