Al-Taraj Club (Arabic: نادي الترجي) is a Saudi Arabian professional sports club based in Qatif. The club was founded in 1980 and plays its home matches at the Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Stadium.The club was formed in 1980 as a result of the coalition of Al-Bader and Al-Shate, the only two football clubs from Qatif at the time.

History

The true beginnings of the club go back to the 1950s when a series of merges occurred with clubs in the area. This led to the formation of Al-Bader and Al-Shate, two clubs that eventually merged into Al-Taraji. This makes it not only the oldest club in Qatif, but the oldest club in the east coast of Saudi Arabia.

**Al Taraji : Un club saoudien avec un riche héritage**

Al Taraji, officiellement connu sous le nom d'Al Fateh Saudi Football Club, est un club de football professionnel saoudien basé à Al-Hasa. Fondé en 1958, le club a une longue et riche histoire dans le football saoudien.

Al Taraji évolue actuellement dans la Saudi Professional League, la première division du football saoudien. Le club a remporté plusieurs titres nationaux, notamment la Coupe du Roi en 1994, 1997 et 2012.

L'équipe est connue pour son style de jeu offensif et sa capacité à marquer des buts. Les attaquants vedettes d'Al Taraji sont Mohamed Benyettou, Cristian Tello et Anderson Talisca.

Le club dispose d'un stade de pointe, le Prince Abdullah bin Jalawi Stadium, qui peut accueillir plus de 30 000 spectateurs. Al Taraji bénéficie également d'une base de fans passionnée et dévouée.
