The Ford Trophy is the main domestic List A limited overs cricket competition in New Zealand. Previous sponsor State Insurance did not renew naming rights in 2009, resulting in the competition being renamed the New Zealand Cricket one-day competition. The competition was renamed the Ford Trophy following a partnership between New Zealand Cricket and Ford Motor Company in 2011.

**Trophée Ford**

Le Trophée Ford est un tournoi de cricket national List A en Nouvelle-Zélande. Le tournoi a été inauguré en 1971 sous le nom de Gillette Cup, avant de prendre le nom de Shell Cup en 1982. En 2000, il a été rebaptisé State Shield, puis en Trophée Ford en 2018.

Le tournoi se déroule sous la forme d'un round-robin, chaque équipe disputant dix matches. Les quatre premières équipes du classement à la fin du round-robin se qualifient pour les demi-finales, qui se disputent sous la forme de matches à élimination directe. La finale se joue sur un terrain neutre.
